Thanks to my colleagues at WSVH for holding down the Midday Music fort Monday (playlist). On to today! Artists coming through Georgia this week include the Canadian Brass, who appear Thursday, October 1 at Emory University's Schwartz Center in Atlanta, and pianist Dejan Lazic, who performs his own arrangement of the Brahms Violin Concerto with the Atlanta Symphony, also in Atlanta. We'll hear from both. And the show ends with the late, great Alicia de Larrocha playing music of Spain. She passed away Friday at age 86.
