Teenaged French pianist Lise de la Salle performs at Spivey Hall this Friday; on Midday Music she goes at Liszt full force. Saturday the Albany Symphony performs Mozart and Mahler; we hear Mozart's Masonic Funeral Music. In honor of great cellist and all-round musician and mensch Mstislav Rostropovich, who passed away Friday morning, we hear him and fellow luminaries in the finale to Beethoven's Triple Concerto.
