Midday Music Thursday 10/16/08
Hi,
Before today's playlist, I'd like to ask you a favor. Just take a moment and calculate something:
How many hours a week you spend with GPB Radio? Or, to take the long view, how many hours do you spend with GPB each year? Got a number? Please keep it in mind over the coming week as you consider your chance to contribute to GPB. How much is something worth that's worth so much of your time?
Listeners cover the costs of providing you with Midday Music, Performance Today, The ASO on GPB, and all our other news, talk and entertainment programming. Whatever your circumstances this year, please consider the maximum you're able to give, and then do your part during GPB's fall fund drive. Your membership matters.
Housekeeping: No Midday Music Requests the next couple of Fridays. Likely no online playlists during the drive either. As always, I'll endeavor to catch up afterwards, when things calm down. Looking forward to hearing from you in the meantime!
Thanks,
Sarah
