Alan Cooke: The Exit Interview. As listeners in the Augusta area may have already noticed, Alan Cooke - station manager and music host at WACG since 1979 - has retired. (Other GPB listeners shouldn't register much difference, as he is continuing to host Midday Music Friday requests for the network, glory be!) To note this milestone, GPB presents a conversation Alan Cooke and I had two days ago, looking back and looking forward. Four segments of our interview air during the noon hour.
