Scan photos from across the eventful life of Carlos Chavez, who wrote his Piano Sextet as a teenager amid Mexico's prolonged revolution. Or check out the young Georgia talent of the Columbus State University Wind Ensemble, which launches the noon hour with Peter Graham's Pentium, a piece that's been described as "a short ride on a PC."
