If you watch DVDs, I'd like to make a suggestion: opera. You can now rent (or buy) dozens and dozens of fully staged operas, with top-notch casts, handy subtitles, and intermissions whenever you want them. Over the last two nights I watched a fantastic production of Mozart's Marriage of Figaro from 1994, with stellar leads including Renee Fleming and Gerald Finley (and Alison Hagley - incredible singer and endearing actor). Two evenings well spent, courtesy of Netflix. Just something to keep in mind.

But back to aural media. Except the concertino at noon, today's selections are all recent releases.
